○ Green Tea
A warm and wonderful green tea featuring real brittle pieces, candied fruit and nuts. Makes an excellent dessert tea.
Green Tea China Sencha, Brittle Pieces (sugar, hazelnuts), Candied Pineapple Pieces (pineapple, sugar), Coconut Rasps, Walnut Pieces, Flavour, Almond Flakes
Steep at 80°C or 180°F for 1-3 minutes.
As with any tea from the Camellia Sinensis plant, care should be taken not to over steep the leaves. Over steeping will result in the release of tannins and create a bitter cup. Japanese green teas should be steeped for no more than 1-2 minutes; whereas, Chinese green teas can withstand a slightly longer steeping time - up to 3 minutes.
