Steep at 80°C or 180°F for 1-3 minutes. As with any tea from the Camellia Sinensis plant, care should be taken not to over steep the leaves. Over steeping will result in the release of tannins and create a bitter cup. Japanese green teas should be steeped for no more than 1-2 minutes; whereas, Chinese green teas can withstand a slightly longer steeping time - up to 3 minutes.
